The 47 series Troopy is an iconic vehicle in Australia and while it might not have a lot of the modern creature comforts it is one way to travel in style. Matt and Holly were lucky enough to find their 47 series, Elsie, in rough condition but still running well. After a good chunk of time in lockdown, they were able to restore her to her former glory and make a few changes along the way.
Elsie initially had a low-cost Roof Top Tent on her to allow Matt & Holly to have a bed ready to go at all times and inside the vehicle to be their living and working area. After a number of warranty claims which included cracked fibreglass and many many leaks, they were after something substantially more reliable, waterproof and comfortable.
The Camp King Roof Top Tent looked to be the ideal solution.
