The Hilux is one of the most sold and most reliable 4WD platforms in the world. When Sam switched from his Defender 110 he was looking forward to the reliability and performance upgrade.
Early on in its life, the Hilux had been burdened with a fiberglass canopy but the difficulty of getting access to anything inside was always always a problem for Sam and his young family. It got to the point where Sam simply removed the canopy – but this meant a lack of secure storage.
