Pat approached the Camp King team to help him build the Ultimate Touring Vehicle. Using the Volkswagen Amarok as a base platform, Pat and the team decided to extend the chassis 650mm and then build a canopy with an integrated tent to house all the creature comforts for when they were on the road.
Lucas and the team started with the integrated tent canopy and then modified it to suit the wider and longer tray for the Amaroks. With the shell designed, it was then time to work on the internal layout of the canopy. Pat and his team had a range of ideas on what they wanted to have in the canopy, including a fridge, coffee maker and even a beer keg, all easily accessible and ready to use at a moments notice.
The Camp King team was able to provide. Working tirelessly on plans and designs to ensure that this Amarok really was the Ultimate Touring Vehicle. Check out the video below for more details!
